Socketed Spines Scaly Cobweb Spider
The PME are large, and the carapace has a scaly or finely reticulated pattern. as in Allothymoites sp. A. However, unlike Allothymoites sp. A, the legs are not banded. The femora of the female have a row of ventral sockets from each of which a bristle emerges, particularly evident on legs I and II. The female abdomen is rotund and is largely black with white flecks on the sides.
The male carapace is black. Its abdomen is shaped like a mango, and is clothed with long brownish hairs. Its femora I and II are more strongly developed than femora III and IV.
